Welcome Message:

Welcome to the IEEE PES Boston Chapter website. We currently have over 550 members, including students and associates, in and around the Boston area and an active Technical Meeting program. Some of the topics covered recently include Energy Markets, Substation Automation and Arc Flash Safety. We also offer courses for continuing education in a number of topics such as Microgrids, Symmetrical Components and Distribution Engineering. The highlight of each year occurs in May, when we hold our annual banquet with a distinguished speaker and honor our Outstanding Engineer Award winners.

All these events need volunteers to make them happen. We are always looking for new people to help out. If you would like to help us make our Chapter even more successful please contact me at my email below.

We also have an open invitation to anyone who would like give a talk at our Technical Meetings. If you are interested in giving a talk related to Power and Energy please contact me or any member of our Technical Meetings Committee.
